Dear Parents/Respondents:
With the grace of God, Our Lady of Lourdes School is now a complete Preparatory and Elementary Curriculum with 147 total enrollees this School Year. Since its foundation on June 2003, OLLS aimed at providing quality education with emphasis on the academic, moral and spiritual development of our pupils.
The school would like to extend its mission to serve the people of Aglipay and the surrounding municipalities by opening High School Curriculum next School Year 2010-2011. This would be possible with your support, thus, we are floating this survey form. The result of this survey will be presented to the higher authorities (Board of Trustees of the Diocese of Bayombong Catholic Schools Association) for further study before the final decision be drawn.

In the heart of the town of Aglipay, Quirino, the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School stands meekly yet hopefully with the purpose of educating the minds and touching the hearts of the young!
This humble school traces back its conception from Rev. Fr. Jeff Tonilier, a CICM Missionary, who built the main building which was first designed as dormitory for retreatants and multipurpose hall. It was only in 2003, under the direction of the then parish priest, Rev. Fr. Virgilio Bago, that this building and school was opened for enrollment.
Since then, with the accreditation by the Department of Education, the Our Lady of Lourdes School becomes a bastion of Catholic Quality Education. It strives for the highest academic standards and commits itself to providing a safe and peaceful environment for learners. It forms and motivates each learner to embrace the opportunities for their spiritual, academic, human and social growth and development!
Herewith are the objectives of Our Lady of Lourdes School of Aglipay:
First, to challenge their pupils to be innovative by acquiring critical thinking skills in the search for academic excellence and leadership.
Second: to accept their pupils at their own unique level of ability, achievement, and motivation.
Third: to provide a pleasant and safe environment in which all pupils can learn, interact and socialize together.
And finally, to bring them closer to Christ through Mary!
With these objectives, the administration and faculty of the Our Lady of Lourdes School of Aglipay commit itself to assist parents in educating their children to the sciences of the world and to form them as good witnesses by living the Gospel values and standards. By being open-minded and well-equip to the new developments in education, they are most of all committed to the highest quality education for the future of today’s generation.

Cogratulations to OLLS for such an achievement within barely six years of existence.
I would like to address my feedback, not only to OLLS, but to the DBCSA as a whole. I suggest that they should more closely look into a wider context of both the advatages and disadvantages of opening a high school deparment at OLLS. The matter I would like to bring out is that will this not endanger other Catholic schools in the province. I learned that there seems to be a decline in terms of enrolment rate in other Catholic schools. Again, will this not endanger the existence of others? For a time, the municipality of Aglipay has been a feeder to other Catholic schools just like Saint Vincent, Saint Mark and Saint Mary. Twenty years or so ago, the basic constraint was transportation. Now, access to these schools is more viable and so students can complete their secondary education in any of these schools. If current Catholic schools de experience so, what measures or mechanisms would OLLS address this. It is ironic that while it looks forward to opening a high school department, it also has to face the predicament of decreasing enrolment turn out.

sa mga taga Aglipay po, nangangailangan po ako ng konting tulong kung paano makuha ang birth certificate sa pamamagitan ng email or internet. sa kasalukuyan nakatira ako sa Cavite at sa aglipay ako ipinanganak gusto ko lang po malaman ang site ng munisipyo ng aglipay or contact number po kung alam nyo man, kailangan ko po talaga.salamat ng marami=)
