Thanks to the u
my short skirt
is not an invitation
a provocation
an indication
that I want it
or give it
or that I hook.
my short skirt
is not begging for it
it does not want you
to rip it off me
or pull it down.
my short skirt
is not a legal reason
for raping me
although it has been before
it will not hold up
in the new court.
my short skirt, believe it or not
has nothing to do with you.
my short skirt
is about discovering
the power of my lower calves
about cool autumn air traveling
up my inner thighs
about allowing everything I see
or pass or feel to live inside.
my short skirt is not proof
that I am stupid
or undecided
or a malleable little girl.
my short skirt is my defiance
i will not let you make me afraid
my short skirt is not showing off
this is who I am
before you made me cover it
or tone it down.
get used to it.
my short skirt is happiness
i can feel myself on the ground.
i am here. i am hot.
my short skirt is a liberation
flag in the women’s army
i declare these streets, any streets
my vagina’s country.
my short skirt
is turquoise water
with swimming colored fish
a summer festival
in the starry dark
a bird calling
a train arriving in a foreign town.
my short skirt is a wild spin
a full breath
a tango dip.
my short skirt is
initiation.
appreciation.
excitation.
but mainly my short skirt
and everything under it
is Mine.
Mine.
Mine.
i was told to pursue what catches my heart…
i close my eyes and feel…
dear heart, did he catch you?
beats…
steady…calm…certain…
deep breath…
this day i found a plighty answer
there was a merciful clue
it stopped all murmurs afloat
lines carved into life
where the earth shuts out all fighting stance
defeated yet victorious yet defeated
from under, the years came crawling
flaunting its dark nights and lonely streets
my veiny old hands shiver
should mysterious truths be carelessly unfolded?
that we may be warned
of shadowy nightmares and curse…
Ice queen am i
Meet and then fly
Doest care
Wouldn’t dare
Masks on wear
But will bare
Eyes that’s frosted
Lips so pouted
Heart that’s cold
Mind so bold
Growing old
None to hold
Soon long after
I, a malformed drifter
Remorse comes last
Too much, too vast
Love that’s lust
Lust that’s past
Conquered soul
Buried goal
Heated coal
Hated whole
Left to die
Bred to cry…
We met somewhere under the rainbow.
I soon realized i’m in love with you.
someone occupied your heart.
Then I went away.
I tried not think of you.
I tried not to bother you.
I tried to keep it that way.
I keep my self crying in the darkness.
Again, Our path crossed.
I’m charged with hope.
But how my power surpass.
The complicated results.
During my soul was inlost.

Eighty thousand board feet of common hardwood lumber with an estimated market value of more than a million pesos were confiscated by Isabela province’s Task Force on Forest Protection in Barangay Sta. Filomena in San Mariano town in Isabela province.
Dave Siquian of the task force said a report from a concerned citizen helped them to confiscate the logs which he said were illegally cut.
A series of 38 caves, seven of which have been developed as tourist spots. Located in the midst of rolling hills and verdant forests, the caves boast of an underground river and well preserved stalagmites and stalactites. They interlink with each other and run to a depth of 20 meters. Cottages, dorm-type buildings, and picnic huts for overnight tourists are available. The caves are ten kilometers from Cabarroguis.

I know you are not deaf
But I want you to hear me
I know you are not mute
But i’m looking for the answer
I know how much you love me
I know how much you care
I know you are hurting when i’m feeling blue
I know that I am a complicated nobody
You left me in the darkness
Longing for the answers
Missing the ears who understand
I know i am cursed…
forever…
